To Aphrodite’s Daughter
The eyes of Beauty are soft,
And have a tender gleam;
They show ones inner feelings,
And give off a blissful beam.
Hey you with the stars in your eyes!
Come forth and shed your light;
Shine upon our land,
And make our day so bright.
The lips of Beauty are sweet,
As fresh as a just picked peach;
They reveal ones tranquil thoughts,
And speak the truth to each.
Hey you with the lips so ripe,
Come forth and share your fruit;
Let us have a taste,
Of your inner Truth.
The hands of Beauty are gentle,
They give with all their might;
They show us how true Love is,
And make all things go right.
Hey you with the hands that render ,
Come forth and point the way;
Take us where our Freedom lies,
And Justice has its say.
Soft eyes, sweet lips and gentle hands,
These fit you like a glove;
A maiden, pure and proper,
Whose Beauty's made of Love.
For Love is who you are,
Put into flesh and bone;
Aphrodite's daughter,
As you sweet Love has shown.
You've grown to be a goddess,
Who loves with selfless grace;
As lovely as your mother,
And soon to share her place
