Pour into me vision of life,
and flood my soul with your light.
Let my heart beat with your Joy,
and let my hands serve in your ploy.
May I never forget the plight of my brothers,
my sisters, friends, fathers and mothers.
And let even the strangers who roam the earth,
be friends of mine in equal worth.
Give me strength to carry forth,
as I wander in darkness in search of your torch.
When hopelessness walks my way,
let me stop my mind to pray.
And be thankful for what there is,
for a life alive brings hope of bliss.
