I'M ONLY HUMAN
I
wish I could be enlightened,
and
know just why I'm here;
Unfortunately,
I'm quite dumbfounded,
that's
why I cry my tears.
If
a were a Buddha, I'd know why,
or
a Krsna, Mohummud or
Christ;
But
I'm only me and that's confusing,
for
I really don't know what's right.
Should
I do this, or should I do that?
Is
this good or bad?
If
I only had the answer,
Then
I wouldn't be so sad.
And
so I go on singing my song,
or
rhyming out a poem;
As
I do I realize,
that
I'm only human.
