HOW FAR WE ARE

Putting a name to an object,

does not mean we know that object.

Words are not the same as knowledge.

Truth has no image,

To imagine is far from the truth.

Saying we know does not mean we know,

Thinking a thought does not make that thought true;

Believing an idea, does not make that idea real;

Reality is not a thought, idea, or knowledge;

Insight is a perception;

Vision may be inaccurate, and is therefore untrustable;

Understanding is based on insight.
