THE FAMILY HONOR
Each family has a story,
given them with birth,
Of tyranny or glory,
of treachery or worth.
Torment has its seed,
in
birth's unwanted start;
Yet Beauty may take heed,
through the family's loving art.
Hopes and dreams set into motion,
others cast aside;
Holy vows that bring commotion,
others that abide.
Young ones left and old ones gone,
a stable, yet changing milieu;
With growth comes a bitter song,
of saying sweet adieu.
Why-oh-why must families pass,
and solemn oaths go rotten?
Why is it that hopes don't last,
and commitments are forgotten?
Such a struggle to love each other,
especially those we love the most:
Our parents, spouse, sis, and brother,
and others dear and close.
No love works without respect,
HONOR is the key!
No dreams are fulfilled with neglect
of living righteously.
Like a garden planted in early spring,
by a wise farmers loving hands,
The honorable parents will surely bring,
a loving family to this land.
