Circus of Humanity

In this circus of humanity,

we daily live out life’s insanity,

most of which is a show of vanity,

like clowns fumbling about.

A giggle, a cry, a folly or song;

A vice, a virtue, a right or wrong;

So much will arise as we float along,

in the ways and woes of this circus.

A hope, a vision, an act of courage;

a fear, an ignorance, down and discouraged;

Its up to each to be bummed or encouraged,

we are masters of our own path.

And so the show goes on and on,

and on and on and on;

Onwards till our life is gone,

so we might as well make the best.
